چامسكي و سوال از هرمنوتيك

متن زير، ايميل من به نوام چامسكي استاد زبان شناس و به عقيده برخي، تنها فيلسوف روشنفكر زنده غرب و ايميلي هست كه ايشون در پاسخ فرستاده. هر چند ايشون به سوالهايي كه در رابطه با هرمنوتيك كردم پاسخ مستقيم نداد ولي همين ارتباط مختصر، نكات جالب توجهي برام داشت كه در پايان به اونها اشاره كردم.

Dear Sir: Prof. Chomsky! It is a great honor to write to you and have your response. You are a quite well-known scientist in my country, Iran. Many of your books have been translated into Farsi and university professors and students are well-familiar with your ideas and theories in linguistics. Due to this wide acceptance and authority which you have on linguistics and some other fields of study, I would like to have your point of view on some questions about my MA thesis. My MA thesis is about the "Comparison of the Methodology of Quran's interpreters and Classic Hermeneutics assumptions".   I have some questions about it. It is a great honor for me and my professors and thesis advisors if we could have your point of view around the following questions. 1. Considering the new hermeneutic approaches, do you think that it is still necessary to study the classical (pre-philosophical) texts on hermeneutics? 2. In Iran, we are mostly familiar with Gadamer And Ricoeur And to some extent with Hirsch And Betti just recently some books from Robert R.M. Grant and D. Tracy are available. It would be a great help if you could help me and name some new hermeneutists who are active and working on hermeneutics at the moment. 3. Since I have read some of your articles about Iran's political situation, and I know that you are well familiar with Iran's political situation. I would like to know your idea about using hermeneutics as idealogic and political instrument? Interested to learn about your work and concerns, and I appreciate the kind remarks. I wish I could help, but I have no special knowledge about hermeneutics or the other matters you raise, and could not offer a reasoned and useful comment. Noam Chomsky

 چند نكته قابل توجه:

1- چامسكي ظرف كمتر از ۴ ساعت ايميل منو جواب داد در حالي كه تا كنون هيج كدوم از استاداي داخل كشور ظرف كمتر از 10 روز جوابم رو ندادن.

 

2- بين تمام ايميل هايي كه به اساتيد داخلي و خارجي زدم، هيچ كدوم مودبانه تر و احترام آميزتر از ايشون جواب نداد. در حالي كه رتبه علمي هيچ كدومشون هم به اندازه ايشون نبود.

 

3- آيا شده تا به حال از يه استاد داخل كشور سوالي كنين و اون بگه بلد نيستم؟ شده كه به يكيشون بگين استاد راهنماتون بشه و اون بگه زمينه كاري شما در حيطه مطالعات من نيست؟ ولي چامسكي كه فقط درباره هر كدوم از چهار نظريه اصليش تا به حال دهها رساله دكتري نوشته شده و در مقالاتش اشاره مستقيم به مباحث دقيق هرمنوتيكي داره خودش رو در اين زمينه صاحب نظر نمي دونه و نظر نمي ده. اون وقت بعضي ها كه كل سواد فلسفي شون به اندازه كتاب "فلسفه براي كودكان" هم نيست خودشون رو صاحب نظر در هرمنوتيك مي دونن و مقاله در ردش مي نويسن و وقتي مي خونين مي بينين آقا هرمنوتيك هايدگر رو با فلسفه كانت اشتباه گرفته.

 

4- براي من بارها پيش اومده كه وقتي به بعضي از استادها كتاب يا مقاله اي معرفي مي كنم يه جورايي ناراحت مي شن. تصور مي كنن اگه ابراز علاقه به دونستن ندونسته هاشون بكنن از شأنيت شون كم مي شه. ولي چامسكي خيلي راحت ابراز علاقه كرد كه در مورد نوع كاري كه من دارم مي كنم بيشتر بدونه. خدا آيت الله معرفت رو رحمت كنه. در اينگونه اخلاقيات بي نظير بود. يك بار كه خدمتشان بودم، موقع خداحافظي پرسيد: اين كتاب كه تو دستته چيه؟ گفتم رسم الخط مصحف از غانم قدوري الحمد. پرسيد: چطوره؟ من هم حسابي در مورد مزاياي اين كتاب و اينكه در موضوع خودش بي نظيره و زير نظر عبد الصبور شاهين نوشته شده و ... توضيح دادم. يه برگه برداشت و مشخصات كتاب رو نوشت و كلي ازم تشكر كرد. در حالي كه همين كتاب رو وقتي به شاگردهاي ايشون معرفي كردم، به اكراه فقط سري تكون دادن.

خداوند هم آيت الله معرفت و هم نوام چامسكي رو مورد عنايت و رحمت خاصه خودش قرار بده.

(فكر مي كنم اولين كسي هستم كه اين دو شخصيت رو با هم دعا مي كنه ... )
